Nice rims...I like those!

I would think looking at the PDF that you can use 2 different offsets giving you a staggered look even though the rims are both 8.5" wide. I would contact the place you will order from and run this past them. Ask them the recommended tire size for the rim and car too.

My rear tires have a low profile that really doesn't go vertical at all. Almost the same "shape/contour" of the inside wheel well lip. I'll see if I can dig up the info on mine though they are 20"s.

these are inspired by the SLR design...

they look good on in the picture... will have to wait and see how they look installed...

they will certainly look awesome on R203, R170, R171, and CLK (whatever the code of CLKs are)

The ones on my car came from CA on eBay. He's under "wheels-bay". I think he has a set now but not offset with the 3-1/2" lip. They were normally around $5-600 apiece I think. Got'em on clearance as they're no longer made.

Those AMG pics are off eBay.

I have those rims on my car. They are five-spoke AMG Type 220 rims with the specs (as listed by 4themasses). My setup is non-staggered so I use 4 same size rims all around so I can rotate them. There is no rubbing even when steering wheel @ hard left/right.

On tires 255/45/18 - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S when I got the rims. I am now running Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum - a lot cheaper but problem with flat spots. But once you get past the initial vibrations, tires are great/quiet and very good on wet roads. When you get to these tire sizes it gets more expensive. I can't justify getting another Michelin Pilot Sport because tire thread is directional, Kumho is not. It means I can rotate Kumhos all four corners where with Michelins I can only rotate one side.

I paid about $400/rim (tire not included) back in 2006. I think this type-220 were already discontinued. Tirerack used to carry other AMGs and there was a two-piece that I liked but it came out after I bought my rims. It seems tirerack no longer sells AMG rims last time I checked.

I included a picture just to give you an idea and see if it is to your liking.
