I spoke with this gentleman, he seems like he is just learning ebay, but has a source in Germany (he says) with the original templates / patterns for Mercedes cars. Pricing looks very competitive for all real wood items.

I've ordered a full kit, cluster wrap, steering wheel - horn cover and a console box.

He sounds like he can get any word trim for any Mercedes...I'll post back when this stuff comes in. It sounds like it takes weeks to get each piece.

I scanned the Performance site but I think the price comparison for the set is $315 versus $660? Zebrano would be less but I have Burl wood.

For 50% off on some items and 20-40% on others, this seller could cause upgrades that would otherwise not get done. At least for me.

I agree... I have performance's catalog. It is much better than the website, and often contains special discounts.

I am interested in the instrument cluster surround from the guy on ebay.. he says on the add that its the same item for all 107 and 116 models.I want it to fit a 79 slc rhd. Will it?

New to this Forum. I have a 79 450 SL and would like to get the wood replaced. I usally buy from Performance but is this guy cheaper? I went on the site you provided but it seems they only have the extra pieces and not the orignal wood pieces. This will be the last of the interior work!!!!! I don't think my bank account could take anymore!!! []

1: I altered my order, and just paid him a few days ago. When my items arrive I will post my opinion.

2: I think he can get anything. He has very little history built up on ebay, all positive feedback but with two feedbacks removed.

Bottom line, he appears about 25-35% cheaper on many items...but cheaper on all. When I spoke to him, he said he had a source in Germany with the original templates. Said quality should be first rate and he can order most anything...but needs to order a few of anything to get better price.

Received most of my order today, on schedule. Items are excellent quality, I am very happy with the price I paid for these items.
