I have just about finished this re engine job ,i have a spark ,but no fuel when i crack open fule lines .
I did'nt strip this job so i have a bit of a jig saw puzzle to deal with .I am trying to start with the air filter off .could this be the problem ,just thought maybe a switch isnt getting enough vacuum with not having the top on .I would appreciate any info on vacuum pipe routing also correct positions for the many plugs .I have a few spare ,which may be normal ,but without a wiring diagram its hard to tell.

If you are getting no fuel presure, it is probably an electrical fault. My guess would be the fuel pump relay.

When you turn the ignition on, do you hear the fuel pump buzz for 1-2 seconds. If not then either the pump has failed or more likely the relay gone bad.
