Hello everyone I pretty much hit bottom here trying to figure out what’s wrong with my car..it started with a cel out of nowhere (p0018) then the car misfires like crazy (cylinders 6,7,8) but if I turn the ignition off and turn the car back on it runs good for like 20+ minutes ...so I changed the camshaft position sensor (intake side) and also the crankshaft position sensor. Drove around and same thing happened..usually after it reaches normal driving temp...I check the coils that shown misfire on bank 2 and swap the #5 for the (supposedly faulty #6) to see if the coil was bad ..and nothing happened it drove fine for 20 mins and the same check engine light came on with the same misfiring on the same 3 cylinders and the p0018 code again...(yes I have a leaky valve cover on both sides .. but it’s been driving good for months) . So my question is..should I also replace the intake side camshaft sensor even though my cel is telling me all my problems are in bank 2 ?? And what else could the problem be? ..is there a break in “ period for the camshaft sensor? Etc etc
