Hi All,
Im new here, and glad to be apart of the MB family.
I drive a 2006 C180K Manual, in the last 2 months my car had misfired twice.
The first time i took the car to the shop the engine returned misfire on cylinder 2 and cylinder 4. The misfire disappears when the ignition is switched off and on again. My mechanic reset the fault codes and i was good to go until yesterday:mad:, when the misfire returned. I switched the car off and back on again and the misfire disappeared. The EML remained on. I took the car back to the shop and the engine returend misfire on cylinder 2.

Has anyone experiend this issue.

Please help to what it could be.

Thanks in advance.

Could be a bad coil - try swapping coils #2 and #4 with, say #1 and #3 to see if the error stays with the coil or the cylinder.

I know this might be a reach, but was there any resolution to your issues? I'm having the same problem, 3 times including intake camshaft code. And when I cycle the ignition, everything clears up and runs right as rain.
