The ones on the outside of the box? I have read those pairs of brackets hold antenna mast sections stacked horizontally into the brackets. I have not found the proper sections. NATO masts, either aluminum or fiberglass, are not the right length or diameter.

If you are talking about the little right-angle pockets, they are meant to hold 3-section poles which are to be used to tent-up the camo nets. The pockets appear on pritsche, ambulance and radio box variants.
Here are some photos.

This UHN radio box is loaded down with the brackets. Looking at how the canopy lashings on the newer trucks eat up space on the bed sides , I'm guessing they might be loading up the radio boxes with camo poles for the whole group.

I was thinking of the newer trucks, not about the 404 Radio Box...like I probably should have been.

According to Ed Wright's 404 radio box page, the MS series antenna sections
that screw together to form an antenna up to 5m in length are 1m long each.
So, if the pockets take something 1m long, that would be a logical solution.

I did come across a photo on Ed's page of a 404 Radio Box with a bundle of what look like 1m long antenna sections lashed to the LEFT side, however.
If the pockets don't take 1m long stuff, maybe they are for Camo Poles
after all...

On the other hand, 404 Ambulances sport a pair of pockets, and since they'd have no need for antenna sections, maybe some of the pockets on the radio
box are for camo poles after all.

As far as the telescopic antenna, I have recently seen them come up on EBAY in Germany.
