How do I determine what version my head unit is? I have a 2002 CLK430 Cabriolet w/o navigation, but w/ a CD player.

Thanks

If your vehicle is a U.S spec then its a audio 20 w/ a cassette deck.
Euro.. maybe a audio 10 w/ a single cd player, or sound 30 w/ a single disc cd player.

My mistake

Sorry for the confusion. The head unit does not have a cd player or a cassette player, just a stereo. I have the multi-CD player mounted in the trunk. Main question is: Can I get an Ipod hookup that allows me to use the steering wheel controls to change tracks, volume etc.

The ones in this thread will take the place of your cd changer.(The dension one allows steering wheel contol see there site to be sure)

or you could have aux. input hardwired as shown in my second post in this thread

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/audio-telematics-forum/1226567-show-us-your-system.html

Also I stated earlier in this thread that the U.S spec is a audio 20, I must have been asleep its a audio 30 w/ a cassette deck.
You do have a cassette deck press the tape button then press "ej" it will appear on the screen.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your help. Dension Ice Link is compatible with the Audio 30, but not the Audio 20. When you said it was a 20, I thought I was doomed for a while.
