I'm aware that u can turn the radio on without the key. My radio randomly turns itself back on without key. I come out to my car and the radio is on. If i turn it off, it cuts back on randomly. I'm just worried it will kill my battery. If I cut the radio off before I turn the car off it will still be back on the next time I get in the car. What could be going on?

I repair radios, and the only thing would be the volume/switch control could be bad, yet the switch function could be tested on the radio with a ohm meter for continuity..

That would be the easy test to do..

Yea the same switch that controls volume doesn't work right. I have to do it from my steering wheel. I'm guessing that's my problem. What is the cheapest/easiest way to fix it?

I can replace the volume control/switch for $65 with a new one-this includes return freight. The other choice is you can find someone on ebay.
