My radio has no power going to it. I checked the fuses under the hook and they look good..

Is there a fuse on the back of the radio?

Usually there is a fuse at the back of the radio. Did you check that the fuse box fuse was good or did you just visually inspect it? The fuse number for the radio should be 64.

I did check fuse #64 it looked ok but I replaced it anyways.

Could anything else be causing this problem? The radio went out after replacing the cd changer...

Is it common for the fuse on the back of the radio to go??

Is the radio completely dead or just without sound?

The fuse at the back seems to blow mainly when owners make mistakes at jump-starting. I've never had it myself.

The radio is completly dead...

Is it possible that changing my CDC blew the radio fuse?

The SRS light is also on and my Key Fab only works some of the time...

Was I supposed to disconnect the battery once I changed my Cd changer?

Could this be the source of my vehicle malfunctions?

Don't you have a CD changer connected on the fibre ring, I don't see how you could blow the fuse from the back of the radio when working with this one.

The SRS light could be unrelated, does the car have an IR key, perhaps EIS. Still not radio related. But if you have issues at the front SAM or similar (water/corrosion/bad contacts), this could affect several functions.

Talked to the dealer and they said the only way to change the CDC is to take it into the dealer... Becuase they have the software to reset the fiber ring ?!

I'm pretty upset by this in a way.

They are gonna charge me $150 to put in a cd changer for me... BULLSHIT!

richcat04, did you get your new cdc installed correctly? I have the same problem with my radio. I recall hearing a strange noise from my cdc but thought it was just something I never noticed. After work 12 hours later, the radio was dead. The fuses were good. I have also just recently noticed, probably because the radio is not on, there is a buzzing noise coming from the r door speaker. can anyone help?
