Also I have a question about the radiator hose markings

On the aux water pump hose photo I know the white mark indicated with a red line
is where the grove on the air filter box line up with the hose to retain the hose> But where
does the white line on the end of the hose marked with black line line up with ?

Also the same question is for the upper and lower radiator hoses that have the white mark on
one end of each hose. What do they line up with ?

All 3 of the hoses are of the Valeo Brand

Thanks

I am doing some PM with hoses and breather cover hoses and I had a leak on the "Y" hose from expansion tank to back of engine . The hoses are probably original and car has 300,000 + miles on it so with hoses being replaced I went ahead and ordered a thermostat

I see where the 2 bottom hoses match up with marks on the water pump housing ( thanks Witek_M ) and assumed there is a mark on the thermostat for the upper hose to match with
