Hello all,

I am probably just not seeing it but... I cannot for the life of me locate a drain plug on my radiator... Is there supposed to be one? 2006 W211 E55. Radiator on it is original, it's the Valeo PN 2115003202...

My new water pump is on the way and I'd like to drain the cooling system before getting to it...

Any help would be appreciated!

Dont mess with the coolant drain tap .They can snap off ..just pull off the bottom hose from the radiator .

Thanks that sounds like great advice. I finally located the drain screw (radiator was shifter back an inch so the screw was hidden by a brace). I turned it 1/4 turn and nothing. I don't want to force it and have to get a new radiator, so will disconnect lower hose. Tks!

always try to avoid fiddling with the drain plug on any radiator. Always best to drain by loosening the lower radiator hose.
