I need to replace my radiator cap. Not sure if there were changes between the early and late model 140 but mine was the all metal black colored one. I have ordered from the stealer and another shop and they both offered the 210 replacement which is the all plastic. tried it anyway and it didnt fit

Anyone with the all-metal cap, can you read the part number on it?

thanks

First, do you have the M104 (300) or the M119 (500) (its not in you avatar.)?

For early M119;
Êàòàëîã
(so that tank that you have D.T., must have been replaced at some point time.)

The M104;
Êàòàëîã

Both pointing to that the correct part number are;
A1295000006 that replaced by;
A1245000406

The one you should be trying/able to obtain is then A1245000406

all early models used metal caps (2 part numbers with 2 different compression rating)

starting with 1994 or 1995, they adopted the plastic cap design, one size fits all, and allowed retrofitting the older models with the new cap.

however, installing the new cap, requires replacing the bottle (over flow tank) and vice versa.
