Im thinking about the escort 8500 x50 or the bel rx65. The solo 2 is awesome because it doesnt have a cord. Where did you mount it? Got pics?

yeah i definatly need a radar detector. got nailed today doing 61 in a 55. re-damn-diculous. anyway gotta put plates on the c and take off the tint. its a sad day but whatever. i havent gotten a ticket in 2 years so traffic school is an availible option.

Yeah did my research on radars and the best ones is the escort8500 x50 and the bel rx65. If you interested mybe we both can get a good deal on 2? That sucks that it was over by a couple of miles. Sorry to hear man. I got one about 6 months ago going about 90 but he was nice enough to put me at 79mph. Still with the price and time I paid for the ticket I the radar will pay for it self. Let me now because I will buy the radar soon.

i use a radar detector, saved my ass more than a couple of times, just make sure to slow down if you see a cop sittin in the middle even if your detector doesn't go off though, he may be using laser (in which case you guys should get a laser jammer too) and the laser doesn't spray an entire area giving you time to react, pretty much once your laser goes off, you're caught. (unless of course you happen to be very lucky and the laser goes through the windshield of the car in front of you and gets passed on to your radar detector for early warning, which has only happened to me twice in about 6 years, the chances are slim) great choice on those radar detectors though, i would also highly recommend the Valentine1 []
