Came across Putin in Ottawa a few years back. He was staying in the same hotel we were, Westin Ottawa near the Parliament Hill. The lobby and elevators were packed with young Russian security guards.

Looks like this commentor needs to do some research of his own. Dakar vehicles are heavily modified. A Russian car WILL NOT survive te Dakar stock, on it's own. LOL!!

russian cars are shit? why has a russian vehicle won the dakar rally for 7 consecutive years then? do some research before making baseless assertions, it is a good habit.

A Russian car might not, but a Russian truck will and has. Google KAMAZ and Dakar together, you'll see.
