She has a wind screen and I showed it where it was in the trunk. Also said she likes to drive with the roll bar up - our opinions differed! Funny thing, the tool roll was missing - someone in a shop must have forgotten to put it baclk - and the antenna is stuck. I've heard you can't get those anymore though Daimler.

Yup uro only for the antenna mast is what’s available but it works well. Literally the only part in their catalog worth buying

She is back on the road after even months of restoration/reconditioning. Only thing that still needs attention is the paint and soft top windows.

I posted numerous pictures of mine but it never gets tiresome. Today I was exploring a bit for our first Sunday drive and have to continue it Saturday

Mapped out my Mercedes Club first Sunday driver for next Sunday at the start at a Starbucks.

I notice myself parked next to a new Bentley.

and you know our doors are like sails - so big.

I thought if I ding that thing I'd have to sell the car to pay for the ding

Drove 30 miles up our Sacramento River then east into the foothills to a winery. And decided to stop off for lunch at the SL's natural haunt, Katherin's Biergarten

you must have 20 different kinds of German beer here.

Hey everybody, thought I would introduce myself and my car, love everybodys pictures these cars are so photogenic. My name is Russell and this is my 1997 sl32. I am a big fan of AMG and have had several in the past and currently have this one and a clk55 conv.. I have a non AMG 600sl and love it but hardly ever drive it. The german firm Wiesmann Build about 50 of them in the early ‘90s.

Sure I can. The outside colour is a Mercedes colour but original not for the r129. It’s 486 Opalbraun or bourbon.
