Hello,

I own a R129 1990 500 SL my question is did they make body kits for that year that are AMG?

i have photos in my album about the kit. the only reason im asking is that the kit has AMG Germany and model numbers on it, but seems not to fit properly on the car.

is it just in poor shape and need to take it to a body shop or should i just replace it with original if i can find it anywhere.

The car seems to be build in Germany then Exported to Japan and Imported to Canada ... (I'm probably wrong)

I have seen some early models with the AMG kit, but rarely. I would imagine they would fit the car perfectly if you have the correct brackets and foam for the bumpers. I don't recall if the skirts were available but I imagine the skirts would be bolt on. I know those dura flex kits or whatever they sell on eBay are terrible fits and need to be altered to work.

if you have the OEM parts, it should be a direct fit. from what i have been told there was no need to get special foam for AMG bumpers with the MK1 bodykit. (MK1 bodykit is what "SL BRABUS" posted. i am currently gathering the parts to put it on my car.
