So I've been purchasing parts to have my mechanic repair the driver's side of my suspension (it looks like the PO did the passenger side, considering how much newer it looks). I have pretty much everything at this juncture from Lemforder and Bilstein (shocks only), EXCEPT.... This part:
123 330 14 75

Unfortunately, it looks like only Febi, Meyle, MTC, and URO (all brands I typically stay away from) manufacture the lower control arm bushing, with URO being the most prominent. I ordered the URO bushing just in case, but my question is if anyone else who has done a front end rebuild used the URO lower control arm bushing? I found it recommended in a couple of suspension parts lists here in the W126 section of Benzworld, but I'd prefer to install it if the other members here had a poor experience with it.

While I didn't know that, I only purchased their shocks as I was informed to steer clear of their other products.

Everything else I purchased is Lemforder.
Be aware that Febi parts supplier and Bilstein (dampers etc.) are not related. Completely different companies doing different things.

I could be wrong; my German isn't that good, nor is my knowledge of European business structure, but my understanding is they are all part of the same group, Febi Bilstein.

(Later that same day...)
Dang! I think I am wrong. Don't know if it was true in the past, but at least now, they appear to be distinct entities. The shock manufacturer is a division of thyssenkrupp AG.

(Interesting that the Germans capitalize the word for shoe but not the name of a corporation... Febi Bilstein is actually febi bilstein, too...)

Anyhow, I's still buy the febi part over the URO part...

Nouns are capitalised in German (e.g. " ....my nice blue Car).

And yes, Bilstein dampers is part of Thyssen Krupp. Fe Bi (FE rdinand BI lstein) is separate. Febi is a play on the guy's name. A similar play to Ge Sta Po (Google it).
