I found out the reason why my car was stalling. It uurns out it was the fuel pump. I went to the local european parts store and bought one. From what I know and seen my 1987 300e has dual fuel pumps. The parts store told me that it has been replaced with a singal pump. I feel that this is not true because the dealer sells the dual pumps. Has anybody had to change the fuel pump and is it true what the parts store told me? I know that there are certain models that have singal pumps but I know that mine is not one of them. Will I have to convert my pump system into a singal fuel?

what year is your E? And I'm curious, what brand of pump did they sell you?? You should have dual, I have never heard of Mb reverting back to single pumps.
