I'm considering selling my SLK 320 and getting a C320 or E320. In reading the SLK message boads, and based a little on my own experience, it seems the only problems with the SLK are as follows: (1) the quality of the exterior paint in that paint rock chipping happens very easily, and (2) the quality of the soft 'leather-like' trim on the console, sides, and dash in that it peels easily or is easily nicked up.
My question for this board is whether you have experienced similar problems with the C class cars, and in paricular, the C320. Thanks for your help.

i have a bril silver c320
and have one small paint chip on hood, this is common now as MB has gone very enviro friendly and do not put any lead content in thier paints, so it is not as robust as it used to be, dont suppose you would be interested in a swap? my c320 has 4900kms
bose sound system, fancy type climate control, 225/55 michelin pilots and the sports grill, at present covered and in a heated garage(do not drive it in the winter)
