I'm picking up my 2002 CLK 430 in Nov, but have a question regarding the tires. I live on the east coast, and have to drive through rain, snow, black ice... you get the picture. Should I replace the factory tires with all seasons? A friend recommended getting a 2nd set of winter tires for use during the winter only - problem is, I don't have the space to keep a 2nd set of tires. All season tires? Any recommendations? Suggestions? Can I sell my factory tires or trade them in?
By the way, any comments, suggestions, or recommendations regarding the car?
WTTC ! I live in the East Coast as well. All-Seasons don't handle to well in the snow.

If you can't get snows, then I recommend getting Pirelli's. They pretty stable in bad conditions but don't expect to drive your car on heavy snow.

I live in the East Coast area as well... (more)

I live in the NYC area, and am currently considering either the MB CLK430 or BMW 540i (non sports pkg). I'm currently doing some comparison of pros and cons. From anybody's experience, how well does the CLK 430 handle in NYC/tri state area during the winter months? How about on rain? Excuse my questions, but I'm going from a SUV to a sports car, so I'm definately a newbie on this subject????
