I'm about to purchase a 92' 190e 2.6 with close to 99,000 miles. I have priced it somewhere in the neighborhood of $6500-7000 and was wondering if anyone else would agree with me that I am in the ballpark before I decide. The current owner (2nd for the car) is a friend of mine and has taken very good care of the car from what I can tell. I talked to the mechanic who works on the car since my friend has has owned it; he gave me the impression that it has been well taken care of from his perspective as far as repairs and general maintinance. This is the first time I have looked at a Mercedes but I need to find something that will last me through several more years of college. Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments would be greatly appreciated!

A/C blows cold air. It has been maintained since 30,000 by my friends mechanic; he is anal about properly servicing vehicles and maintinance. So given that is it work what between $6,500 and $7,000?
