Hello, a Mercedes I'm probably going to go look at has these bumper guards (pictured below) and I'm wondering if any of you know they can be taken off?
Also he says it may need new rear shocks and control arms. Will those parts be hard to find and are they expensive?

Thanks,

Bilstein shocks are about $100 each. You prob need 4. Pretty much all repair parts are available for these cars. Rubber parts you should use MB parts as much as possible. There are other oe mfg that are good also.

There isn't really a rear contol arm it's more of a trailing arm. They have some bushings that get old. You should jack up rear of car and see what is really loose in the rear axle. Why does seller say it needs work?

The bumperets will leave hole on the bumper if you remove them.

The tires on that car look too wide.
