Will these wheels be a proper fitment on a 420 SEL?

offset is ET11 not ET 25, but I understand the offset changes or should change if you add wheel width. (?) These are an inch wider ( 16x8" ) than my OEM wheels ( 15x7").

The ad says they came off a 560SEL and fit fine.

Anybody?

Let me make sure I understand you. New wheels are offset of 11 mm and old wheels are offset of 25 mm, right?

Since your wheels are one inch wider, that means the clearance from the strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 1mm MORE than the OEM wheels and the outside edge of the wheel will extend an extra 27mm over the OEM wheels. Should fit!

Check out http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

It's a handy wheel offset calculator.
