Hi All,

After spending 5k for replacing the ESP Module for the E240 - 2004, have been driving the car without issues but have have a few questions:

1. should the RPM reading be 700 at Idling, 600 when in D, N, R when stand still? what should it read with AC on?

2. I get this strange vibrations on the steering wheel which comes at an interval of 2 secs when stand still and car is hot. What should i be worried about?

3. the Standard mode makes the car Stiff at suspensions. However comfort mode is alot more smoother. The question is that E240 does not have the Active suspension then how does the driving mode impact the same?

4. Currently my car has clocked 50,000 KMS hence should i change the Spark plugs? if yes, then which would be the best to use?

Thanks for all the help on the above.

If you don't have airmatic then what you're feeling is purely psychological, the C mode causes the transmission to start on 2nd gear and shifts early. It also down shifts late.
I'm not familiar with the 4 cyl 211's, may be some international members can answer the rest of your questions.
