Quad fog DRL to LED kit (which one)

After looking reading and searching other posts I cannot get this figured out. I have seen swap over kits from 500 to 160 dollars to change the P1 w212 luxury front quad round lights out to the more updated looking LED lights for DRL use. Which one of the kits has been installed with success? So what happens to the other wires left behind? Does the dash show a warning the lights are out? I do not care if the kit has the hockey puck style or straight stlye LED, I just want a LED kit for DRL that does not cost a fortune and does not give error on the computer. Easy swap over of parts would be nice too. Thanks for any help.
