So I think I'm going to go the route of getting a used 380 subframe and having the gussets welded on. However, I'm having trouble finding some gussets online. Does anyone know a site or do I have to get them from a dealership?

gussets at the dealership are quite spendy....although I ended up with a set of MB gussets it was through the generosity of another member that I paid only $65. P/N 107 330 00 68

And here's how it's done.

Thanks for the links. I definitely won't be doing the work, aside from removing the old subframe and putting the new one on, on this job since I've never welded. Besides the mounts, what other parts absolutely need to be replaced with the subframe?

Subframe bushings, control arm bushings, engine mounts....all that stuff will be staring at you in the eye.

After all is said and done....you should probably get an alignment as well.

Subframe bushings and subframe mounts kinda look like the same thing to me. Am I right or completely wrong?
Yes they are the same.

Okay, so yesterday I finally got a replacement subframe from some guy for $300, no rust, no cracks. Today, I started to take mine off and got all the control arm bolts out and 4 of the 6 subframe mount bolts out. The only 2 I can't get out are the ones connected to the motor mounts on either side. Is there some trick to getting these out? I can't find a way to reach them from underneath and there isn't enough room to pool them out from up top. I know that pulling the engine would probably make it a snap but I'm trying to avoid that if at all possible.

Access to those bolts is from underneath THROUGH the subframe with an allan key socket.

There are access holes in the subframe for that purpose.

I had a feeling but I wasn't positive. You wouldn't know what size the allan key is, would you?
The one that fits, silly.

Not offhand, no.
