Looking at 3 03 sl55's and would love some advice and if the prices are good, added the aftermarket chyrsler warranty to last three to even warranty option

1. silver/charcoal- Kansas car price 34k great condition with 64k miles and 4 yr 100k warranty left, pano, keyless go
2. silver/charcoal- Florida car- 36,740 and 31k miles, no keyless go, pano roof and need to get warranty through chrysler, about 3k- total 39,740 price
3. New Jersey car- 36,500 price, black opal/gray, 43k miles, keyless go, no pano, need 3k warranty- 39,500 total price
4. Georgia car- red/black, keyless go, no pano, 39,500 price, warranty 3k so 42,500 price total
How important is keyless go and are these good prices?

I just bought an 06 with 34k miles on it and I paid $38k. That was a nice deal I found but from what you're saying, the price seems rather high.

Based on my research, an 2006 base model (not much options) should go about $39-40k with about 30k miles. I was looking at a 05 with 30k and that was for $37k.

Oops, just realized you said SL55. Well, then I have no idea.

If you are down to the bare wire - i.e. how much can you afford. Just make sure that you have some money set aside for repairs and maintenance. Not all items are covered under extended warranties - just the basic electronics, drivetrain, suspension components (some). To quote a comment from the writers of Car and Driver "As will all 'expensive when new' High end German cars, repairs can be very expensive. As long as you can budget between $2K - $5K year to cover maintenance and wear and tear items (standard maintenance + tires + breaks + ~ 1 visit to the dealer for unscheduled items that are not covered by warranty) you should be ok.
