I think, I got the proof, that MBenz is indeed made contact with Aliens from another world. After a few words and a handshake, the Aliens, must have given them a piece of metal and told to the MB factory: "You must use this indistructable material as the protecting collar of the ignition tumbler".
And Mercedes Benz did so. What they didn't do is to make the ignition mechanism reliable, so MB owners with a failed ignition keyhole, not being able to turn the key will end up ripping half of their cars apart to do change their ignition tumbler.
