I remember seeing some threads with where I could mount the balast but I cant seem to find them.


People with HIDs where did you mount them? I took a look and I dont really see much room in the engine bay to mount them. Also. Ive never done anything like this before so advice? Any idea how to remove the headlight? I took a quick glance and couldnt figure out exactly how to get the headlamp off. :surrender:

One ballast went into a holder held with a screw into car body, the other tucked in beside the airbox and hasn't moved since.

You will find a lot of room after you remove orig headlight. Ive got mine flat behind light.

To remove light undo 2 top screws, remove blinker assy (press tag tru hole at rear)
Remove 3rd light screw.

Put ball headed screw into the 3rd hole (I also put a large thin flat washer here to hold wing return down)
Wipe a dab of grease on ball to aid popping on light.

Assemble away.

I assembled it without the ball headed screw... Do you think it'll be ok? It was a pain in the butt to try and fit it in.. even without the screw. :bowdown:

They will vibrate. Easy to do once you get the technique.
Put light in place and push onto ball.
