After installing a new MB phone cradle and a new MB compensator in my car I purchased a MB phone and asked the dealer to program the Car to recognize the new equipment. They did this and charged 1.7 hours of labor. When I aked if this was the normal amount of time to perform this task I was told that is what the Mercedes Benz time guide allows. Most of what I read
sounds like it should take no more than 30 minutes.Does anyone have any comments.

Either they weren't sure what to do and had to wait for the supervisor or taking a very long cofee break. At one time, the monkey at the dealer was scratching his head on how to wire the seat control on my (sold) coupe for 3 hours. And they tried to bill me for it. I said you have to be a moron to keep digging your brain after 30 minutes and still could't figure out. Finally the service advisor agreed to put it down for 30 minutes.
