 The figures are posted in the table above. For MY 2000, it reads 1,203 E55 units. The data came straight from MB AMG (Private Lounge).
looks like we are a pretty exclusive bunch with 1203 cars worldwide eh? No wonder the dealers think we are all Donald Trump. the car cost $A 198000 in 2000.In Australia

No Kidding! whether its 13yrs old or 13 hours old it's still incorrect information. why didn't you ask that person where did they get their information also? or did you just assume it was correct? I don't need to qualify my point, but in the interest that others on here will also be misinformed, also here is the correct list from The AMG lounge, which I happened to be a part of, now going on 7 years. Next time before you ask me, ask him (or her) first.
In the post below, you will find estimated production numbers by Model Year for each AMG model. Please realize that these numbers are only estimates and that this is based on model year, NOT a calendar year. All numbers are only for the US Market.
As an example of the incorrect data that was given from that 13-year-old thread, the SL55 AMG was first made in 2002 for the European market. the first cars sent (USA) were in 2003, not 2004, as stated in his thread. And that's just one example of the misinformation given. there are many others. all you have to do is compare this accurate list with that, and you will see many other errors, wrong production numbers, and years. You can thank me later!

This list includes model years 1995 to 2008.

If you didnt read clearly the first time, the post is 13 years old.
Why would I waste time asking a member no longer active. Last seen 12 years ago.

But now, you've elaborated, after I responded to your post. Thank you.
So get off you high horse and substantiate your comments next time, instead of mouthing off.
