Problems Logging In?

OK, maybe this is overstating the evident, but I have read several posts where people created an alter ego because they could not log in with their customary id/pw combo, and it's becoming confusing to see so many old faces in new places.

If you have problems accessing this site, just use the "Lost Password" function and a temp password will be emailed to you which you can use to log in using your own handle, then change it back to whatever you want it to be.

Maybe there should be a sticky on the forum for the time being, otherwise I hope people won't get upset if me or whoever occasionally bumps this to where people who happen to have problems can read it.

I am not sure what happened to my login!

I spent five days out of town and it took me three days to get back on when I returned. I had to change my password, not sure if there is a control feature that causes a user to be locked out after non usage for so many hours etc.

Thought it was the strangest thing! I have left before and returned to a login that worked fine!

Any tips or ideas any one????
