Hello,
I have a MB 250 from 1967. When i press the gas pedal, the speedo stops working?
The speedo is mechanical. I can't see any obvious fault. Right now I don't know where to start looking...

speedometer and not tach correct ?
check the connection at the tranny area , they get loose and sometimes pull away. Or the cable itself is bad

The car does not have a tach.

Usually the cable is loose behind the speedometer. Carefully reach the cable from underneath and check it is attached properly.
