Could anyone help me with this problem? or are there any post about this?

Thanks
Try and be more vague...all of us are practicing our mind reading skills.....

What problem? Electrical? Over heating? Sensors? Coolant level? Kicking in too late?

Hi Benica,

Sorry...:D:D:D
I don't know the problem, but the fan stage 2 wouldn't start even the temp gauge showed 100 degC. When AC on, low speed (stage 1 i believe), tha fan works fine. Any idea?:crybaby2::crybaby2::crybaby2:

Thanks

The fans are switched both by coolant temperature and by refrigerant pressure. As far as I know, Stage 1 comes on when the temperature hits 100degC or the pressure reaches 14 bar. Stage 2 comes on at 107 degC or 17 bar. I think that there's a Stage 3 for some cars (depending on year) that comes on at 115 degC or 20 bar. Both fans should run in all stages.

May be you haven't reached a high enough temperature (or pressure) to switch Stage 2 on.

Mike
