From what I can tell its comming from the Passenger side front wheel well.

It only happens if I am turning to the right side, past a certain degree.
I have tryed different speeds and it increases/decreces with speed increase/decrease. Its like a Clicking or thumping. some times Its a light Click click click - like when your lug bolts are too long and they skip the ebrake tension spring inside the hub... this is not the case as I have had the lugs on for the last 1000 miles and it just started doing this today and only when I turn in that direction.

If I cut the wheel alllll the way to the left - or any degree to the left I cant reproduce the sound. If I cut it to the right just a little I cant, a little more it will do so at higher speeds (like if I am doing 60 and I cut it to the right lane quick I can hear the noise) or if I cut hard right at any speed (doing circles in a parking lot trying to reproduce the sound) faster = faster thumping. Slower - slower clicking...

It started this morning when I was getting on the Northern State parkway - Its a right side turning ramp on to it and I was heading into it a little fast not like insane fast but faster then most people... and I heard it at first I thought OH SHIT I have a flat tire.. because it kinda sounded like that... lub lub lub lub lub noise when your flat and your shit lops up the rubber.... But then I left the turning ramp and headed straight... I tryed swerving slightly in my lane and didnt feel any pull or anything in the wheel so I figured it was just a section of the road on that ramp that was cut up or something or being refinished that I didnt notice. well When I got off it was the same thing lub lub lub lub lub lub and then I got nervous and now have been trying to replicate it and check out what is going on....

Inside the wheel well nothing has seemd to change... Everything was always close in there with the 19's but I dont see anyplace where anything would rub... I cut the wheel fully both ways and still cant figure out (with the car stationary) where if it is - it is rubbing....

What I dont understand is how all of the sudden it would start rubbing... I feel as if maybe I have a ball joint problem on that side but I didnt hit anything or bottom out a pothole or anything... it just started when I got on that ramp...

Some one hit me up with some ideas....
I would like to put on my stock wheels and drive around to see if its still doing that noise... if it is can assume its not the wheels rubbing anything and its something wrong with the passengers side wheel asembly stuff...

Anyone Got any Ideas ??
I wont be able to take the wheels off till this weekend... and I REALLLY DO NOT want to drive my baby around with this like this...

Joe I would check your suspension. See if anything is rubbing in there. I know things are close but see if there is any new or noticable wear. I'd also check the inside on the rim and rubber for wear signs. Maybe just take off that wheel.

I'd also check to see if your bolts are all tightened up. I heard a similar sound on an old car of mine. Turned out the bolt was loose and striping my whole shit up. I had to bring it to get the entire hub fixed.

Yea I am going to check it out after work today... stripping all 4 wheels and puttin on the stocks... I am going to try to drive around like that and see if I can duplicate the noise... If I can then I know this is more then just rim/tire related... As sick as it sounds I hope its more then wheel/tire related because that would mean that It would be under warentee and get fixed and I can get my wheelieo's back on and keep living life... if its wheel/tire related :( then wheels need to be fixed or somehow made to stop this... I honestly cant immagine that its wheel/tire based unless something drastic happened to them without me knowing... seeing as I just took a 1000 mile road trip with nothing wrong at all no noises or anything and then wam this morning it starts clacking.

*sigh* I will swap the wheels off tonight... even if I cant replicate the noise I am going to bring it to the dealer tomorrow nad have them check out everything on the front end... :(

I dont think it would be the lugs because I had my whole car checked before the trip Pjay and I watched them put on the lugs with Torque sticks on the air guns.. and I talked to the guy while he was doing it. I even saw him double check the specs in the books... But then again the way I fucking drive who knows if those things came loose!!! :( BLAHHH its always something....

lets hope its a propeller joint or a ball join or something nad it will get handeled under warrrrrennntteeeeee... (KNOCK ON WOOOOOD)
