I have ordered MY2014 ML550 and have a question about the prepaid maintenance/ELW plans. I understand from the MBUSA site that both the ELW and the prepaid maintenance plans will be honored at all participating MB dealerships. Do most MB dealerships participate with the programs? I doubt I will be in the same location in a couple of years and wondered if others have purchased these plans and attempted to use them at other MB dealerships and what their experience was like. I've purchased ELWs with other brands before and, while honored at a dealership other than the one where I purchased it, you could tell they weren't really excited about doing it....I pretty much had to force the issue. This will be my first MB and was wondering if anyone has any experience in this area? Thanks!

if its a prepaid service...it should be covered at all dealerships. one thing you need to know is it only covers required items. all the recommenced items will not be done, stuff like filters, tire rotations ect.

My dealer in NJ states filters are covered. I have to pay for tire rotations and windshield wipers. Everything else seems to be covered.
