Hi,

So this is the question -- I need to tighten those 2 PS belts. Which bolts do I have to loosen to get to the tensioner?

I did a search here folks, but couldn't find pics of that PS area. (I did have photocopies of the job 3 years ago, but mislaid it somewhere.)

So if you can point me in the right direction, with a link to a pic for the job, I'd be much obliged!

Cheers,
RS

on the left side of the PS pump, there are two 13mm bolts IIRC the size. Loosen them both but do not remove. on the PS pump to the rear right, ther is IIRC a 6mm hex bolt vertically, loosen it and the pump itself will create more slack. Tighten it and ofcurse it produces less slack. I put my hand underneath and provide upward pressure while adgusting tension. Tighten the two bolts on the left.

here this should help. Not a pump replace, but similar steps http://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...ENGINE-Installing_New_Power_Steering_Pump.htm

And the third bolt (nut) to loosen is low on the right side. Then use the allen bolt to adjust belt tension.

I would add to make sure you have all the bolts a little loose before turning the adjusting allen. Easy to strip the plastic it threads into.
