Hey anyone ever have an issue getting the nut off the PS resevoir? Mine looks like it is brittle plastic and ready to crack off the bolt. I am sure this thing is plastic covering a nut and it is not a big deal but the black just spins. I get that it is obviously stripped but is it just plastic that has broken away from the nut or a bigger problem for me. Something I do not want to force as I go on a three hour drive this weekend. (my fluids and filter inside of there are just fine ) and there are no leaks as the lid is tight.

Ok someone go and unscrew their ps reservoir and look at the black plastic nut once removed. Post if it is a solid composite nut or is there a metal nut inside the composite. 125 views somebody must know.....thanks.

There's a bolt head under the plastic cover. I think it is a 13mm. Just pop the plastic cover off, you won't hurt anything. Maybe you can find a replacement with the cover not stripped or epoxy the cover back onto yours. Mine has been off for awhile, I've just left it off.

Thank you. I did not want to twist it and render it inoperative. Now I feel a lot better, thank you very much!!
