This summer, I picked up a complete factory towing kit from the local junkyard. The parts are showing their age, so I’m cleaning and repainting everything, and replacing all of the hardware with new parts except for the four bolts that attach the receiver to the frame (which will be cleaned up and get a fresh coat of blue locktite).

The possibly stupid question: is there any place where I can obtain a replacement for the badly worn safety label on the receiver? It’s torn up, and it needs to come off to repaint the receiver anyway.

Sam I do know there is a Benz division that provides labels mostly for vintage cars. Doubt they have a hitch label you never know. Can you photo it and have it printed on adhesive label paper?

The hitch I got is a OEM no label.
