All was well. Idle was great. Smooth a silk. Vacuum gauge where it should be.

Gas peddle had a bit of binding in it all of the sudden. So I figure I clean up all the linkages, lube them up. Done it before.

Put everything back, idle up by 100. Maybe more.
Open everything up, make sure nothing is missing. Still. So I back off the throttle linkage by screwing it back a bit. All well for a day.

Decided to rewire the amp for the sub, give it better cables. Better ground.

Start the car, all is well. Put away the tools. Come back, start the car and it’s shaking. Vacuum needle slightly off.
Start the whole procedure of adjusting the throttle linkage, messing with the fuel mixture plate adjustments. Here and There.

Now everything is back to normal.

All the intake gaskets, lower, upper, hoses. All about a year old. So no vacuum leaks.

Silly me. Should have looked deeper.
The vacuum hose from transmission came undone.

That was the root of my issues.

It made itself clear when I went for a drive today and the gear changes were harsh.
