I rarely eat fast food but I really have to know, are they really that good? When I fly to Oahu, I’ll sometimes drop by and get a couple spicy crispy breast if time allows. After hearing people are getting murdered for them, I’m a bit intrigued now.

Oh, avoid KFC on Maui if you ever visit because they have managed to figure out a way to screw it up. Yuck!

Popeye's Cajun flavored chicken was a favorite of mine when I could get it nearby. I think there's one in greater Chattanooga, and I ain't driving that far for fast food, so it's been awhile. Anyhow, a meal of that cajun chicken, red beans and rice, and their mashed potatoes is a worthy meal if it is their "standard" quality.
Can't speak to the sandwich, though.

I would have figured they would be as common as McDonalds in your parts.

What I wish they had here was Long John Silver’s, if it even still exists. Probably for the best they don’t because I’d be surely a super fat ass.

Popeye's biscuits are da bomb...
Only have eaten the chicken, never any of the sides. Can’t possibly be better than Red Lobsters biscuits.

They are still around here, usually combined with a Taco Bell. Many participating Taco Bells do not advertise this fact but if you order a 'senior drink' (they never ask for proof of age :( ) they will give you a clear plastic cup slightly smaller than a regular sized drink cup for no charge which you can then refill endlessly during your meal in the restaurant. Also available via the drive through.

My 'Neat boy' clothes no longer fit.

They had just got a LJS in Anchorage before I moved to Hawaii, and I went there pretty frequently. Put on a good 10lbs around the waist getting the family pack. Absolutely got upset if they didn’t include the correct ratio of crumbs in my order. Not enough to kill but irritated nonetheless.

Of ALL the things I'd be willing to risk my life for, a friggin' CHICKEN SAMMICH doesn't even make the Top 100. I mean....seriously. I love me some Popeye's wings (no sauce, no bread :) ) but I'm not even thinking about taking a possible ass-kicking over a piece of fried dead bird meat.

Ain't no chicken in the WORLD that damn good! LMBAO!!
