I just got some nice add on wood trim (handles, arm rest , shift). I would like to get the original wood back up to a high gloss. Any ideas?

I posted this on mbworld last year.

Its just another painted surface, so I tried a swirl remover for the light scratches and then put a coat of a polish/wax. The finish doesn't seem to be very scratch resistant, so use a gentle action when buffing.
