Four days into Mercedes A160 ownership and it feels quite good. Still a little nervous of Mercedes' build quality (electrics).
However I'm puzzled, the handbook is next to useless, I've searched page by page to find out what the button is to the left of the ECO button. Cannot find any info and when I press the button nothing happens and no light appears anywhere.
Can somebody advise please?

Well,again I thank you David.
What a nut-nut I am. I completely skipped by safety as I assumed it had something to do with ECO mode.
I have found it on the PDF file you kindly sent and now in my owners manual.
Just goes to show, I didn't look everywhere.

It used to be two separate buttons, but they ran out of space in the facelift [fancy] version, because of ECO, so they combined the two different functions (interior sensor off and tow-away alarm off) into one ... and confused everyone with it ...
