Just ask an MB dealer to pull the diagnostic codes for the A/C and roof before doing anything more. That should give a big clue on what's wrong.
A/C could be just the dust filter blocked.
Is your "warranty" am insurance policy? In that case, the dealer won't cover it - they need to get authorisation from the insurance company.

It appears that your a/c was taken care of with little problem, but that $75.00 "inspection fee" is suspect to me.

If you do a search for "roof" or "switches" you should be able to find something that can help you. There are a number of sequence switches located both in the trunk under the brushes on the left (?) side, they should be slightly adjustable as are the bump stops for the roof.
There are also some switches in the upper windshield, but it would seem likely that they are not your problem.
