Hey,
I'm not exactly a newbie to this forum however, I am a newbie to cleaning the throttle body of my E220..
Does anyone know how the process is carried out?
How do I do it and where is the throttle body in the 4 cylinder engines?

Thanks a lot,
Jeff

By the way guys, I bought this "Whiz Carb Cleaner" from a store. The shopkeeper said these carb cleaners are used to clean throttle bodies...
Is that correct?

Thanks once again,
Jeff

Yup, just use carb cleaner. Your throttle body is located immediately below your air filter housing; in fact the housing's outlet mates to the throttle body.

Thanks mate.
Done it.

However, the engine shutted off quite a few times with the air intake hose off... Hope that won't damage the car?

Also, would the carb cleaner harm the internals of the engine?

Thanks,
Jeff

BTW Whiz carb cleaner sucks ... you should get "QUICKSILVER" brand.
