Hi guys.
I bought a Mercedes CLS W219 55 compressor 476KM M113.990.
The previous owner had a problem with the engine. Two pistons broke and made scratches on the cylinders.
He bought 2 pistons from amg m113.990 but he installed the engine block from m113 5.0 v8 306km. The oil pan and pump did not fit so he also installed the one from 5.0 v8 306km.
The engine is running now and has done 50km.
my question is can it be done like this?
Does the oil pump with the m113 5.0 v8 306.km give the same pressure as the one with the 55 m113.990 compressor?
Many thanks for your help and answers.
Regards

It would be nice to hear back from someone who has done the same. Or anyone with knowledge on the subject.
The question is whether the pump at 306PS has the same capacity as the one at 476PS. What is the correct pressure at 476PS?
Thx for answers
Regards

I don't think you're going to get any answers from anyone "who has done the same".

Your situation is unique, and quite frankly, pretty weird.

You should be thrilled the Frankenstein setup works at all.
