One of the seasoned w140 experts on the forum suggested P-Zero Rosso's for the 18" AMG Monoblock II's on the way.

The tires just arrived (ahead of the wheels) and they look like an awesome tire.

Anyone have experience with these bad boys?

They look like the perfect all-season tire!!

Although they're suggested only for summer use, they sure look like they could make it through just about anything!

Not just a suggestion, but an acknowledgement that the tire compound is tailored to optimize warm weather performance. At cold temps they will be hockey pucks. Have a separate set of winter tires for cold weather driving, or store the car.

Pirelli are bringing out a new version of p zeros and one or two other tyres that is known as verdes as they are a green version of the tyres available now and the design means they will be quieter on the road and i believe they will be an all season tyre too
To be honest i havent taken much notice of the new version even though we (hand)build it in the factory as when you see 10000 tyres a day you get a bit sick of them but do know these tyres are tested to the extreme and to destruction by being driven round Scotland on every kind of road and in all weathers so can say they should be better than the older version
What size tyres were you going to fit ? as i can ask the lads in the quality dept when or if the tyres are in production yet
