I installed projector headlights this afternoon and had Eibach sport springs installed today. The ride is still smooth, handling is very sharp and responsive compared to stock, thanks for the advice, guys!

The mounting fit is great! It looks like you got everything to center in all four holes. Some of the other front view pictures are not as nice as yours.

How about the light quality at night, is it equal to the stock headlights? There are many posts indicating that the light output is much lower. What do you think?

Also are those 17" AMG wheels? Are they a staggered set?

Everything look very clean.

RE: Projector Headlights must be adjusted correctly, very critical for good light output

Hi Rob!

I bought my projector headlamps from Perfromance Products, they are DEPO brand. I am VERY pleased with the light output from these units,MUCH BETTER than stock, however, two things are critical for good light output: Headlamp alignment is critical, and I am not just talking about the standard Up-Down/ Left/Right screws that you would normally use to align the beams. The Headlamp HOUSINGS themselves have vertical, horizontal, and angle adjustments where the housings bolt up to the sheetmetal core support in the nose of the car that must be aligned carefully when installing the headlamp housings, otherwise, light output will not be optimal. Also, when the housing adjustments have been made correctly, the headlamps will have a nice, clean fit with no crooked gaps anywhere!! I then installed PIAA Superwhite Extreme H7 bulbs, and the light output is phenomenal ( Actually BETTER than Mercedes stock Xenon setup for W210, and looks exactly like Xenon, with a "dazzle" and a beam color that changes from white to blue to purple, depending on the angle you view it at.
The wheels are AMG Monoblock 3-piece 17x8 fronts, 17x9 rear, staggered setup; with BFG KDW G-Force ultra high performance tires, and the car has been lowered with Eibach Pro-Kit springs.[:)]

I have a wholesale account, so I paid much less than $350 for the projector lights; the ride with the Eibach springs is almost identical to stock, but noticeably less body lean and much tighter, flatter cornering when you push the car aggressively into corners. Tire rack sells Eibach Pro-Kit springs for $266, plan on 5-6 hours of labor for spring install. The AMG Monoblock 3-piece wheels came on my 97 SL500 roadster, I put them on the E420 after having them refinished/restored to as-new by Wheel Collision Specialists in Bath, PA. They do amazing restorations on 3-piece wheels!

45acp, from my understanding w210 up to '99 headlights are different than the '00 - '02. You may have seen comments about pre and post facelift w210. So to answer your question I don't believe a '99 headlight will fit a '00 w210.

Did you do shorter shocks too? I did Koni sport shocks on mine. If you didn't do shorter shocks, I've been told you can blow out the factory length shocks, since they can no longer extend to maximum travel.

Ebay is the best place to look for projector headlights, just be sure to seal units w/ silicone where clear outer lens assembly meets gray rear housing, also consider retrofitting Depo units with BMW X5 projector lenses and Xenon bulb/ballast assemblies for decent light output.

For the projectors, just do an Ebay search for "e320 projector headlights" and you'll see reference to
several vendors. You can skip over to their web site
as well...order by phone. They avg about $399...some
a little lower, and some about $450.

good thread from previous discussion here...

I just completed an easy retrofit of E55 bixenons into
Depo units a couple of weeks ago. very very very nice.
