Installed updated tail lights and makes a world of a difference. No, I did not change the trunk lid of shave the corners down. I simply "punctured" little holes where the corners of the lid are so the lid can close completely and used silicone to close up the plastic--works wonders and saved a bunch of $$.

Picked up the set of taillights for about $120 on Ebay and spend another $65 for the taillight bulb assembly. Just about $200 total on this mod.

Now I keep getting the dummy "exterior bulb out" light on when I have the parking/headlights turned on. I think this has to do with a different sized than the stock bulb assembly. Enjoy!!

Its almost cool, but there is gotta be bit more you can do...it looks like just shaving/rounding the corners little bit would make huge difference(eyt you could still have the factory lights back on if wanted), i wonder if it can be done without damaging the outside paint and then just touching up with inner edge with paint....
