Thought its about time i put some photos of my new ride up here. A 1984 Midnight Blue 380SE with a beige interior.

Plan some mods later but at the moment i'm very happy with the car. Beautiful to drive.

Just Bought a Blue '89 420 SEL

Hi,
I just bought a blue '89 420 SEL and am starting to go through maintenance items on it. It's a 153,xxx mile veteran and in reasonably good shape. Hopefully, next year this time it will be a lot better.

My 18th present (to myself!) 85 w126 280SE

has 310 000kms and zero rust. not perfect by far but i love w126's and i hope this will be the first of many.

Im not too keen on the new wheels, as of next month you cant by AMG wheels in aust unless you by a AMG car so figured well why not?

My 1987 560SEC

Greetings everyone,

Here are some pictures of my 560SEC I purchased back in June. Some small issues needed attention but they are sorted (sunroof, A/C, rear discs and pads). I was originally going to remove the wool seat covers as i'm not a big fan of them, then I saw the suede underneath so I decided to leave them in place. There is a couple of cracks in the dash so I put that dash mat on top to cover it for now. I am very proud to own this car as I can remember first noticing a 500SEC at a caryard back in 2000 but the prices back then were quite high and I was still in school so couldn't afford it anyway. Now years later I have been able to get the cash and have finished my apprenticeship so maintenance isn't as expensive for me as I can DIY. It's been a very enjoyable car to own in it's features, reliability, comfort and performance and should last me many years to come. I have posted some pics below, enjoy.

Civic man..c'mon seriously! Lose the wheels already! They detract from the ride soo much..they're just not meant to be there sorry.

Regardless of what others think, I recommend an ultra wide set of custom Billet wheels, in the 18"/19" region, even 20" if the width still remains relatively wide. I personally really like these 19" WORK EQUIP 3D CHROME wheels - 11" rear w/275 tyres..dunno if they suit your taste..I think they would look awesome on your car.

What ya think?

The 73 450SL got lonely in the garage with a lowly Jeep Commander, so we added the 91 420SEL

Hello from the UK!
Just recently bought this 300se, I love it! needs some care and attention though (and maybee a few thousand spending on it!)
It's done 146000 miles and has leather, cruise, headlamp wash/wipe, electric seats, heated seats, locking odment box, multi changer, and more. All for a little over £1000! bargain. just got a few blemishes to the body ( it like rains here all the time!)
Great forum,
Duncan.
